Our Code of Ethics & Environmental Policy

The commitments that guide how we work with builders, partners, and each other.

Our Code of Ethics

We build trust by doing what we say. Our three commitments guide how we work with builders, partners, and each other - simple principles that keep projects moving and relationships strong.

Do what we say

When we commit to a timeline, a price, or a scope, we stick to it. Builders need certainty to run their businesses, and we don't surprise you with changes or hidden costs. If we say it will be ready on Tuesday, it's ready on Tuesday.

Build for the long term

We're not interested in quick wins that compromise quality. Our system is designed for durability, efficiency, and homes that perform decades down the track. Every frame we produce is built to last, because our reputation depends on it.

Put builders first

We designed Truss House for builders, not the other way around. We listen to what you need on site, we respond to feedback, and we keep processes simple so you can focus on building. Your success is our success.

Our Environmental Policy

Reducing waste and improving efficiency isn't an add-on - it's built into how we design and manufacture. Every Truss House project uses standardised components and smart material planning to minimise site waste and carbon impact.

Environmental Optimisation

  • Standardised material packages reduce offcut waste by up to 30% compared to traditional on-site cutting and framing methods.
  • Manufactured in controlled factory conditions, our frames arrive ready to install — less site waste, fewer skips, and cleaner building sites.
  • Efficient timber use: every component is optimised in the Pryda software before manufacture, so you get the right materials for the job with minimal excess.
  • Designed for disassembly: Truss House frames can be easily adapted or relocated, extending building lifespans and reducing future demolition waste.
  • Local manufacture across New Zealand means shorter transport distances and lower embodied carbon in every frame we produce.

Low-Carbon Commitment

We're committed to continuous improvement in reducing the carbon footprint of New Zealand housing. Our system is designed to use less material, generate less waste, and support higher-performance buildings - and we're working closely with our manufacturing partners to lower embodied carbon at every step of the supply chain.
